Harry/Draco oral history project
Sep. 19th, 2020 09:43 amHaving spent a few years in H/D fandom around people who have been involved much longer than I have, I've become particularly interested in how personal and unique fandom experiences can be. I've started the Harry/Draco oral history project to collect and preserve H/D fandom history through personal stories of members of that fandom.
The initial work right now involves sharing a short questionnaire in as many H/D fandom spaces as possible. I've already received over 180 responses, which is really exciting, but I'd love to achieve even broader representation! If you're involved in the Drarry fandom in any way, even only as a reader, I'd love if you'd fill out the questionnaire.
In closing, I was recently introduced to the term "fanthropology" and I love it. If you have any recommendations of other sources for learning about H/D history (I've seen the fanlore page), please let me know!
